Why don't they have a CSI Long Beach?

So many scenes in CSI Miami are actually shot in SoCal, Is there something to be ashamed of about Long Beach CA?

Update:

Nothing like driving down Willow and seeing a CSI Miami police car pull up along side you. Monday's episode was filmed near my office in Downtown.

    Long Beach is a great town! just not popular....it's known for being slightly ghetto....i'm from there and you know what, they should call it csi long beach
