Can someone direct me to or provide instructions for antenna mast replacement on an '02 Toyota Solara convertible? Thanks in advance for your answers.
I already know where to get one. I want replacement instructions so I don't screw up the job.

To replace mast you'll have to unscrew ring around mast, once the ring is off, turn radio on so old mast goes up and out of base. pay close attention to position of the teeth on plastic at the end of mast.once all the plastic is out, insert new mast with the teeth facing the same direction. turn radio off and motor will wind up plastic thus lowering antenna mast. screw ring back onto base.

IF I comprehend YOU wisely, you have ALREADY put in the hot MAST in the outdated HOUSING assembly WITH THE MOTOR AND IF it quite is robust THEN i do no longer SEE a difficulty. you have bumped off THE outdated MOTOR assembly wisely, merely decrease off THE outdated ANTENNA assembly AND REINSTALL the finished UNIT in the path of the outdated hollow.
