How many miles do you run on average per day and/or week?
I have been trying to build up my stamina. When I 1st started about a month ago, I could only run 1/2 a mile at a time. Now I run 1.5 to 2 miles every day. Is this good? How much more should I be able to run without stopping, do you think?
Btw, I am 5'6.5 and I used to weigh about 265 lbs. in November, but now I weigh about 200 from eating a totally clean vegan diet and running every day.

I started in July '08 because I was getting out of shape and too heavy for my comfort.
I started with 3 miles (5 kms) three times a week, switching between walking and running until I could run the whole thing without any walking.
When I got comfortable with that, I started running 6 miles (10 kms), and am aiming to get my personal best under 50 minutes.
Doing this and changing to a healthy diet of mostly vegetables and no processed or fast food and I dropped 40 pounds in about 5 months.
it may get you notably in effective condition...while you're waiting for it. you have have been given to paintings your way as much because it so as that it does not merely wipe you out once you attempt it. i could propose mixing up your working too. in case you went out and ran the comparable 10 mile loop daily, you need to get ill of it mentally. attempt to interrupt your day up right into a pair runs some days. perchance do 4 miles in the morning and 6 in the night. you may additionally make 10 miles an frequent consistent with day. as quickly as a week you need to take an afternoon and in straightforward terms do 5-7 miles and then take yet another day or 2 to run a splash longer.
nice =] well i play soccer, then do winter track and spring track. so i run at least 3 miles a day at practice, so 3 x 6 = 18 miles a week, but that's a lot. most of my running is sprinting and stopping. without stopping i think it would be great to run 3 miles without stopping that's what i did everyday over the summer to get ready for soccer season (with sprints inbetween)
