If the government can't even run the post office, how can Obama run our lives?
The post office, after ANOTHER huge deficit, is now asking Congress to allow them to eliminate 1 day of delivery to save money...so instead of cutting costs and laying off workers they are simply going to a 5 day work week to screw the taxpayer. Nice. If the government can't even run the post office properly, how does Obama think the government can solve all of our daily problems? How can the government be trusted to provide our education, health care, food, jobs, security, etc. if they can't even deliver the mail?!?! Hasn't time shown that government isn't the answer and they will always fail in time?

The post office is actually a semi-private company. It gets no money from the government. It does have a monopoly, and has obligations to run routes that may loose money.
They are asking congress if they can act like a private company, and screw the customer. I'm sure they will get their wish.
