How do I put music on my Ipod?

I have I tunes and stuff, but my friend gave me the ipod and didnt give me anything other than the cable to connect to the computer.. I dont know how to make Itunes and the ipod work together

first, you must download itunes.  Then add songs your itunes library from the computer.  then plug the ipod in via USB and the songs checked off in your library will auto sync to the ipod.

all you need is the cable to connect to the computer and the ipod.. if you want to charge it plug it into the computer..

to use it, plug it into your computer, open up itunes, look for your ipod section "yournameipod" to send song from your computer to your ipod click on sync it sync all songs on your itunes library to your ipod..

 make sure you have songs on your computer, if you dont have any, you can use limewire or frostwire..
