How many people watched JFK's inauguration address and how many networks televised it?

I'm writing a paper about JFK's influence and this would be a great detail to include, I'd be so appreciative if anyone knew how to locate such a small detail. (I've been googling for hours!)

I watched it...in black and white
I think only the 3 networks had it NBC CBS and ABC...There were only 3 then anyway!

A good point to your paper might be the stunning line of "Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country!"
An amazing thing, recognized and appreciated by both parties.

Although Kennedy was a liberal in his day, the thought that that line delivered today would bring fear and loathsome into the mind, heart and soul of today's liberal. Today's version would read more like :
"Ask everything from your government as you don't have the ability to do it on your own!"

I'm not sure about the number of people who watched JFK's inauguration but I'm pretty certain only three stations televised it, ABC, NBC and CBS. In case you are wondering why only three, that is all there was at that time.

I was not quite born yet, but there would have been only 3 networks and maybe PBS. We didn't have cable back then.
