The President seems willing to reach across the aisle but not to be dictated to ( by the losing party ). Their refusal gave the far left more power.

Any politician who acts in a fashion which is negative for the betterment of America,, whether it be Democrat or Republican doesn't belong in office.. The last eight years should have sent a message to the politicians who lost and those who won or still remain in Washington.. Their jobs are to act in the BEST interest of America First,,and its peoples,,and NOT in theirs,,or their parties !! I think ALL of them don't realize that is how it SHOULD be !! And Obama WILL put an end to these attempts to delay,,and divide for party purpose..The sad part is the more they delay,,the more of our citizens will hurt,,and the country may not survive !! J"

I think a few of the Obama supporters on this link need to get their head out of their *** and actually look at the stimulus bill. Just because a Dem recommended it and the Liberal media is spoon feeding you their happy, happy, joy, joy feelings over it doesn't mean it's good for the people. Spending is not the answer. The stimulus bill is not creating anything. They are loaning you YOUR money. The New Deal didn't work before (no matter how much Rachel Maddow wants you to believe it did). WWII brought us out of the Great Depression. I wasn't in favor of the first bail out that Bush proposed and I'm sure as hell not in favor of this one. All this is doing is screwing up the our system. Reagan turned things around from that dismal hole Carter left us in through tax cuts and incentives for businesses. This bill is the Dems excuse to stuff every piece of crap pork they couldn't get in before passed so don't think for a second that the Republicans are just going to roll over for it. You can call it a political agenda (I'm sure some are voting no out of spite) or call them sore losers but some politicians do actually care. Hell, I even saw a Dem being interviewed on MSNBC last night that was not in favor of the full bill. Too much pork!

The Democrats do not require any Republican votes to pass the stimulus package. No economically responsible individual would support this spending bill. Thumbs up to those that did NOT reach across the aisle.

Obama Unconscious After Banging His Head; Rushed To Hospital
Barack Obama banged his head on the top of the doorway to Marine One when he tried to enter without looking. The blow to the head caused Obama to lose consciousness and he was rushed to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
Obama regained consciousness a short time after his arrival in the emergency room and immediately denounced the porkulus plan as nothing but wasteful spending and said that less government intrusion in the economy would allow it to weather the current economic storm. He immediately cut all personal taxes down to 10%, eliminated the capital gains tax, and reduced the corporate tax by half. Obama then discussed nominating someone like John Roberts to fill the next vacancy on the Supreme Court.
After a brief interruption for lunch Obama said that we needed to drill for our own oil and ensure our resources were used to strengthen the economy and to decrease our dependence on foreign oil. He also signed an Executive Order claiming man made global warming a hoax and had the Justice Department issue a warrant for Al Gore’s arrest. Obama then signed another EO claiming that Abortion was murder and outlawing the practice. He then praised the medical personnel who cared for him and said that he would never allow our health care system to become Socialized.
His final act before leaving the hospital was to reinforce that gun ownership was an individual right and declared that anyone who desired a carry permit shall be granted one unless the person is a known criminal or have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
Doctors at the hospital stated they have never seen a person be cured of the mental illness of liberalism so quickly and their official diagnosis is that the blow to the head knocked some sense into him. The medical record indicates that Obama awakened from a lifelong, liberal induced coma.
Snap back to reality.
I figured if newspaper reporters and their readers could fantasize about having sex with him I could fantasize about him being cured of his disability after the blow to his noggin.

The republicans are standing up for the American people and refusing to hand over the reins to a dictator without a fight. This stimulus bill is a backdoor take over by government of the entire private sector.
