Happy 16th! Sounds like you either live nearby an amusement park, or you've been to some of the big ones further away. If you've been to places like Cedar Point, or some 6-Flags, then just know that Orl is not known for the most awesome thrill rides, but you shouldn't be disappointed. Orlando parks are more geared towards the blending of themes, shows, simulator rides, exhibits, along w/some thrill rides (drop-rides, coasters, etc.). If coasters are highest on your list, then maybe you can venture away from Disney and go to IOA (Islands of Adventure) @ Universal Studios Resort Orlando (20-minutes away from Disney). This is where most of the coasters are at in Orl. Further away, in Tampa (1-hr & 15-minutes), is Busch Gardens. I'd rate this as the best single park if you're limited to 1-day, but want to experience every variation of a park adventure, plus animals! But back to your question about Disney...It's difficult to answer, precisely, b/c your question didn't state certain key info (e.g. How long are you staying? Where are you staying? What kind of tkts will you be buying---single-day, 4-days??? When will you be going?). Nevertheless, here's some general suggestions (not in any particular order): Animal Kingdom--->You won't find animals in a more realistic setting, other than going to Africa/Asia or maybe the San Diego Zoo/Lion Country Safari. Doing the Kilimanjaro Safari is a must, but be there 1st thing in the morning. For thrill rides, Expedition Everest & Dinosaur. Epcot--->Good for a more laid-back day of shopping, eating, and hopping from one country to another. Time things right where you have enough energy to stay until the park closes so you can watch IllumiNations (Epcot's light & music show). Also, do Test Track for your thrill ride, Soarin' for your simulator, & Captain EO for your 3-D show. Hollywood Studios--->Tower of Terror for your drop-ride, Aerosmith's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Magic Kingdom--->Walt's original concept of what he wanted people to experience. You won't be going here for thrill rides, but rather for the magic & feel of one man's dream (you can't really say you've been to Disney, unless you've done The Magic Kingdom, even though it's really for little kids, or kids at-heart). As far as water parks, Typhoon Lagoon is the bigger & more versatile park, but Blizzard Beach has the more bad-*** slides.

Depending on which way you take, (there's a couple, through tampa or around tampa,) I've gotten there in 50 minutes (early morning no traffic) and its taken as long as an hour and a half with tampa traffic.
