Would anyone really miss Sirius-Xm Radio if it went out of business?

I wouldn't. I think it's ridiculous to be paying to hear radio anyway.

I would miss it tremendously!
It's no worse than paying for TV and a lot cheaper!
I don't mind the $10 a month because I use it so much. My commute is 90 minutes each way back & forth to work and it's so nice to be able to listen to the type of music you like and not have to listen to ANY commercials or stupid DJ's gabbing about nothing.
There is also a traffic and weather station that is updated continuously for my local area which is handy while commuting.
It's also great for sports as I get to listen to EVERY MLB game played over the entire season, also NASCAR and college sports.
There are also some great talk stations!
One other great thing about it is that the stations don't fade, even driving anywhere in the country.

I bet you pay for TV?

Yes I would. I am a truckers girlfriend and ride with him 24/7. It has a lot of good channels just for the truckers. There is the weather channels for different parts of the country. They also have the trucker channel with Trucking Bozo. The only this I wouldn't miss is if Sirius pulled out of the merge that they did with XM. The only reason I say I wouldn't miss Sirius is because they came in and screwed up the XM Listing line.

i used to have it at work and it was better than radio. it was was nice to have choices of things that dont get played on commercial radio, like blues, jazz, reggae, jam bands...but even so it wasnt particularly good at any of those formats- primarily because they still promoted albums and overplayed singles just like commercial radio, and further in these genres they would get 1 station, so you would get all eras together and all sub-genres together and the more commercial elements of these genres is the one that gets played the most. I imagine soon enough we will have the internet built into the sound systems of our cars and we will have much better choices than anything sirius/xm ever offered.

I think I would only miss it on trips when we are not in a regular station area, because that really the only time we use our.

If you lost it, we would save money and go back to playing Cd's in those areas.

I don't use it, so no. I have listened to it before in someone else's car though and I admit, it was much better than regular radio.
