If you get it, don't get one of those little plug and play radios for the car. Buy a new radio for the car. Honestly, if you driving too far away from where you would normally be listening to it, you will end up having to find a new radio station to tune the plug and play unit to. Some channels you might have to use don't come in too well. When I had it, I didn't like it. I got rid of it last December. Oh and forget about having it for your house. You will be spending hours trying to get the antenna in a good position to get reception, kinda like the old style TV antenna's. They(Sirius) played mostly junk songs on the hip-hop/rap channels. I was pretty much stuck with listening to channel 1 or 9. Those were the two channels that played any decent music. The Talk channels are not commercial free. Just the Music channels are. The cost of the subscription is about 12.95 a month. I know Sirius use to have deals if you got a 1 year subscript. or more. If you have the money, that would be a better deal. Also, many of the Music channels have cussing allowed on them. If you are in a car with young ones or someone you don't want to be subject to that language then you will have to find some safe channels that don't allow bad words, there are a few. I use my iPod in my car and alternate between that and the radio(terrestrial) Hope that helps. Good Luck with your choice!

I love XM radio.
Regular radio is terrible.
My fave stations are Top 20, the hair metal station, kiss, the mix, the pulse, and really I just scan the channels and if I like a song, i stop on it.

I have one, and love it. I haven't looked back at the local radio. XM radio was actually what got me into metal in the first place.
MQ-Same here. It's by far my favorite. I like 53 (the boneyard) a lot, too.
