How do you make an added link show up blue?

I continuously see answers saying to check out or follow this link..and there it is in blue, just waiting to be clicked on..mine always shows up black..

Are you adding http:// to the beginning?

The Yahoo system does it for you automatically when you click "preview". It will show up black when you are typing your answer, but switch to the clickable blue link when you preview your answer.

You have to prefix the link with http://
