A question on the existence of ghosts or lack thereof?

Question

Explain to me this -- over 90% of ghosts have been 
described in detail in various garb from formal attire 
to vintage clothing...
this makes absolutely no sense in the fact that clothes
 are material goods that have no soul ... no life of it's
 own than just mere fabric

Clothing cannot live or die...
in an etheral plain clothing would
 still be a solid object
and even the lightest of silk would
 just fall to the ground

so explain to me how could a ghost wear clothes?

It's what the soul sees itself in.  When you close your eyes and picture yourself, i very much doubt you'd be naked. However the "ghost" appears is how they're expecting to be seen, like themselves. And in fact a greater number of ghosts don't even have a body to be seen, they make themselves felt or heard, or simply appear as a shadow of sorts. The clothing is not a corporeal thing, it's the same as the ghost, which is why when some ghosts are seen their "clothes are translucent. Ive heard reports of Ghosts appearing to be like any other person, to look like they have a physical body, i have yet to experience that for myself, but i keep an open mind.

As it is - a ghost does not have a physical body either.  Which is often why an apparition tends to be "see through".

If a ghost manifests itself as a visual apparition, it is likely they are using an image of themselves from the past, something that would be familiar, so they would appear to be wearing clothes, either what they were wearing when they died or something that they would wear often when they were alive.   

If you look at a picture of a person, you see the clothes they are wearing - but the clothing isn't actually "in" the picture - it's just an image - a visual recreation of what one sees when they look at that person.  Same with ghosts.

As everyone knows there are thousand of microscopic organisms living on you and in your clothes. when you die they die do the the fact they need you for survival. so when the ghost is created the appearance of what looks like the clothes they were wearing are actually the millions of organisms that have died with you that were imbedded in the clothes.
