Chicago! Great city, lots of cool architecture, good food, great music and art scene. Good public transportation, lots of cool neighborhoods and friendly people.

Chinatown to eat at Tommy Toy's and shop Grant Avenue
North Beach to see the past come to life and eat really good Italian Food
Lefty O'Doul's (former baseball player) on Geary Ave for the atmosphere and a drink.

I agree with New York. It has museums, and broadway shows if you have no money limit. Stay in Manhattan and be sure and get a metro pass so you can go on busses and subways everywhere. And don't forget Central Park.
The city is cleaner than people think and safer. We LOVED it and we were on a budget.

Hawaii. Stay at the Royal Hawaiian while in Honolulu, then go to Maui and do the sunrise bike ride down Haleakala.

Aspen Colorado is always a great place to go to! You can do all sorts of outdoors things and go to a ski resort while it is still ski season! Some good places are Breckenridge or Vail! You can always use an online yellow pages to find good places to go or call a travel agency!!
