Not according to the Vatican. They recently released a statement saying that in the Catholic interpretation of Christianity aliens would simply be more of God's creation and thus not cause a crisis of faith for Catholics. Now that applies only to Catholic Christians, of course, but I think the concept is not too far out of line for other Christians. As for other religions, I don't know....Show more

For some people, yes.

The reason is, among other things, what if THEIR version of Adam chose not to bite the apple?

Another problem, what if those aliens don't seem to be what some people think is God's image? What if they look like an octopus with claws and wings?
