I have a friend that never saw Walt Disney's "Songs of the South". It was pulled from the retail market about 1970 because it was determined to be politically inappropriate for today.
Anybody know how I can find a copy?

...although "Song of the South", a 'holy grail' DVD title on my 'want' list, has of course, not been legitimately released (...and from the looks of things, will never be), there are many websites which have been offering dupes of the film, with most of them culled and duped from a Japanese laserdisc printing (...I have had to settle for one of them). This site seems to offer the best quality...

I got a copy a few years ago, I dont remember which site it was, but I figured as long as disney was never going to release it, I'd get somewhere else...

I have a copy...it's a bootleg though. I've had it for years and it's on VHS. Shop around...there are copies available. Try eBay.
