Then why did 11 execs leave the company the last few days? I think this is terrible and from what the news is reporting most if not all that received the bonuses already cashed their bonus so how is the Gov. going to be able to tax these bonuses 100% as they say they may.

Government incompetence is running wild. They said they knew exactly where the money was going before distributing it. Either they are in my opinion more incompetent then AIG or any other organization and business operating today, or they found a way to implement a new law taxing and governing your, mine and all Americans bonuses and future income. Another disturbing Government take over, controlling Americans and their lively hood. Some may call this Communism. Either way it is a step in the wrong direction. I, have not heard much about the Government pay raises and $47,000 bonuses given to Government employees. Should we have not started there. I, mean if the Government is so concerned about the people's money, why are we paying for all these cost with tax payers money. It is called projection. Rail every one else while you steal and do the same exact thing behind our backs. Government is not the solution. They are the problem.
Why don't you call Chris Dodd's (D) CT office in DC to complain. He is the one responsible for the AIG mess. Here is his press release touting his executive compensation ban. Wgat he forgot to list is that this only applies to contracts AFTER Feb 11, 2009. Dolt!
These people are traitors to this country and should be arrested and tried as such.
Then we better get some answers from our president and government who should have known better than to let this happen.. something is very stinky in Washington!
They'll tax them at the end of the year as income...Obama knew about these bonus' way before now but he didn't anticipate the public outrage over them and this outrage could derail his next stimulus he intends on asking for this summer, this is why he's posturing himself this way.
