He did not create the world to have any rapists in it, however he did create people and even the angels with free will, we are not robots.

After God made the earth ready for animals and humans (the earth was here long before he put life on it) he declared that is was good.
Later on one of the sons of God speaking through a serpent (snake) told the woman, Eve that God had lied to her and that she should go ahead and disobey the command not to eat of the tree in the middle of the garden (the tree of the knowledge of good and bad) Well most know that she went ahead and ate anyway, the man Adam did the same, and things have gone downhill since that time because that snake turned out to be Satan and as 1John 5:19 says, ....the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. So you might say the the Bible takes us from paradise lost to when the paradise will be regained, and that in the near future. 2 Peter 3:13, Rev. 21:1-5.

you are missing the whole point of running your own life

you live in a world you and others like you make. some who are human like you do not want to live and let live, they want to live and hurt others.

in a perfect world a rapist would not exist, nor would you or me.

you can't have it both ways

if you want a good world (not perfect) then change the world around you. and if you find a rapist in your midst, then have either a hunting accident or boating mishap.

hunting and boating mishaps have worked for centuries where the those doing the crime escape by position, money, or other methods.

i'm not advocating being a vigilanty, just making the world around you better by removing cancer from society.

I like the thought. It seems an absurdity that the world couldn't have been as "whatever God wanted" with one less rapist, but the superstitious are always going to say that every little thing is necessary to achieve the world God wants.

Look at it this way. He could have created the world with one more rapist, and He didn't.

Personally, I think the whole question is a bit silly, but if you're going to look at it the one way, you could look at it the other.

The wicked and the "good" will all be brought before the Judgment throne of God. The question of God is a much bigger reality then you realize. You will never understand unless you start asking Him. Not people. Especially yahoo's
