why dose god exist..?

i lost my parents and too sisters and my childhood friend in a car boming in Lebanon when i was 14. i am living with my brother right now im 16 me and him are the only survivors. so as many how have lost i had to options the first to blame god for what has happened to me.

the 2 is to understand that it was not god but men how did this to me.

the thing is i still go to church every sunday. why you might say simply pot if god does not exist then logically there is no afterlife why as many of you might say that the church and Basically every single religion out there was born to give some hope and reason to live for all the slaves and persecuted people of the world to tell them there is something after this that there an afterlife that there is someone who cared hens god who offers you that thing you want the most , a better life in this case an afterlife so remove god from the picture then there is no afterlife. well you might say that's all fine and dandy who gives a chit anyway im happy as i am and don't need this well you might be right but lock at it this way you are not as happy as you could be. why because some of you for better or for worse are living a moral life abiding to some moral standard so why do that way not just go kill the gay that pisses you of or rape the girl next door. why not after all you are being logical doing the sing that makes you happy so putting it this way the rapist the sycos the murders are the smart ones doing what makes them happy and whee are the stooped ones helping other. so why do that you are only losing time and money for nothing why live a moral life when you could have a much beater one looking out for number one ,after all that the logical way to go since all you have is right now and her so why not makes the beast of it and be happy even if its gonna kill you in the end so what if you die now or tomorrow its gonna be the same anyway you just end that's it well your gonna say im happy doing good or im living for my loved ones well that's all wrong why, why give your money away when you could by your self a new dress after all that the logical way to go. and what is love well it is it some electrical signals predoused by the brain as science would say so maybe a in few years from now we could have your self a love pill why the heck not having a father may be over rated anyway why do you need some on to love when you could go to the local drug store and get your self a hole box of the stuff well if you think that there something more to love than electrical signals than you are probably right god is love and that the tingling filing in you that tells you you did something good can not be replicated by some pill and simply put there is now reason to life with out god

and for those of you how say that god is overrated that science is the way to go than you are being illogical by living a morel life and if you remove your logic what makes you different from the every day worm since there is no soul and the gays who f*ked my life up where doing the right thing.

ps sorry for may bad English its may 3 language

My Condolences for your loss, I too have suffered things , loss, God is in the world using the world and its failures for His glory and the benefit of those who listen to Him.

But then, what about those who seem to suffer innocently with no benefit resulting? What about the woman who is raped, or the innocent bystander who is killed by a stray bullet. In both cases, the victims and families suffer nothing but pain and loss. What good can this possibly be?

I think that the answer is two-fold. One, ultimately, no one is innocent. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23) and are by nature children of wrath (Eph. 2:3). There is none innocent. Though this is biblically accurate, it does not satisfy the question emotionally. Why do little babies suffer for things they have not done? I must acknowledge that I do not know. Ultimately, we must trust God who knows the beginning from the end and sees the grand picture. He will have the final word and He will be vindicated.

    Conclusion

Suffering is the result of human sin. The world is not the way that God created it and because of that, all are vulnerable to the effects of sin in the world. Why does one person suffer and another does not? Why do catastrophes happen to some and not to others? It is because sin is in the world. But there will come a day when the Lord will return and cleanse this world of all sin and all suffering.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away," (Rev. 21:4).

I have to be truthful when I say I didn't read all of your post. I just couldn't follow you...sorry.

But I think I got the general gist of the message. You've experiences a lot of heart ache and you want to know if God exists, and if so why He allowed all these bad things to happen to you, right?

Well, first of all I have great news for you: God DOES exist!!

Secondly, even better news: God is GOOD and He LOVES you!

The Bible never says we will live carefree lives, but it does say that God is always with you. Have you ever read the poem Footprints in the Sand?

    Take a read:

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed

he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.

For each scene he noticed two sets of

footprints in the sand: one belonging

to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,

he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of

his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very

lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he

    questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow

you, you'd walk with me all the way.

But I have noticed that during the most

    troublesome times in my life,

there is only one set of footprints.

    I don't understand why when

I needed you most you would leave me."

    The LORD replied:

    "My son, my precious child,

I love you and I would never leave you.

During your times of trial and suffering,

when you see only one set of footprints,

it was then that I carried you."

You see, God is always with you no matter what and He is so awesome He can take what the devil means for your harm and do something good with it. He can USE you to do great things. He can turn your suffering into JOY unspeakable!

So don't ever question whether or not there's a God or if He loves you. Both of those answers are YES!

The Bible says that "God is spirit, and those who worship Him, must worship Him in spirit" (John 4:24) However, this doesn't mean that we cannot see evidence of His existence. (Romans 1:20) "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." Here is some scientific evidence from what we can see through nature, to back up the idea of a Creator/ Intelligent Designer/ God. – From Biology If an event, system or object is the product of intelligence, then it will 1. Be contingent 2. Be complex 3. Display an independently specified pattern Among the most compelling evidence for design in the realm of biology is the discovery of the digital information inherent in living cells. As it turns out, biological information comprises a complex, non-repeating sequence which is highly specified relative to the functional or communication requirements that they perform. Such similarity explains, in part, Dawkins’ observation that, “The machine code of the genes is uncannily computer-like.” What are we to make of this similarity between informational software—the undisputed product of conscious intelligence—and the informational sequences found in DNA and other important biomolecules? ------------------------------------ – From Physics In physics, the concept of cosmic fine tuning gives further support to the design inference. The concept of cosmic fine tuning relates to a unique property of our universe whereby the physical constants and laws are observed to be balanced on a “razor’s edge” for permitting the emergence of complex life. The degree to which the constants of physics must match precise criteria is such that a number of agnostic scientists have concluded that, indeed, there is some sort of transcendent purpose behind the cosmic arena. British astrophysicist Fred Hoyle writes, “A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests that a super intellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with chemistry and biology, and that there are no blind forces worth speaking about in nature. The numbers one calculates from the facts seem to me so overwhelming as to put this conclusion almost beyond question.” One example of fine tuning is the rate at which the universe expands. This value must be delicately balanced to a precision of one part in 1055. If the universe expanded too quickly, matter would expand too quickly for the formation of stars, planets and galaxies. If the universe expanded too slowly, the universe would quickly collapse before the formation of stars. ------------------------------------- – From Cosmology With modern discoveries in the field of cosmology, the concept of a definitive beginning of the cosmos has been demonstrated almost beyond question. The Kalam argument states that 1. Everything which begins to exist has a cause apart from itself. 2. The universe began to exist. 3. Therefore, the universe has a cause apart from itself. It thus appears from the data that an uncaused first cause exists outside the four dimensions of space and time, which possesses eternal, personal and intelligent qualities in order to possess the capability of intentionally bringing space, matter—and indeed even time itself—into being

    Why does anything exist?

Does the question have a point, seeing as we are here like it or not?

Perhaps a better question is how shall we cope with any situation in life, and enjoy our experiences, win or lose? Perhaps you have read the poem "IF" by Rudyard Kipling?

We could explore the question together: Does God know why God exists?

Is it because we are so used to thinking on a plane which is finite, that we ask questions about function only?

Can we ask a question of that which is eternal: for what purpose did you come to exist for? God is a concept to most people, isn't this true? A concept that people mould to their own view of the world perhaps? Isn't God (for most people) an idea which they use to pull a comfort blanket directly over their fears (like the fear of death), suppressing them from their minds?

Do people want an interfering Deity? Perhaps they do? Really when it comes to it, what can we say about God?

God is a name we have for this never ageing never changing source of energy from which finite organisms like our universe are grounded upon. There, we have turned God into another limited concept, but it gives us some certain view to watch.

God is to the universe what the soil is to plants...The plant may die, but the soil still lives on. The beauty of living beings is that they have form, whereas God is rather uniform. Holy is a word which means whole, uninjured, undivided. The beastly part about mortal beings is that form is created through division (fractalization). Form creates images, and the image of man see's itself as a particular form. Man has lost his roots to nature, and thinks itself as "higher form". This is discrimination, due to the conflict between reality and image. The image says: "I am beautiful". The reality is that ugly and beautiful people are made of the same atoms, and the same genetic pattern (virtually). So the question is: can we live in these forms without conflict in our minds and also between us?

Perhaps some part of intelligence must operate to see that form is illusiory, whereas existence is permanent? If we thought that killing didn't destroy, would we do it? If we thought that having power over people makes no difference in the end, would we bother trying to supplicate people? Whilst form may alter (move, age, or break) and appear distinct from other forms, really everything in this universe of "form and function" may come from one source.

On the other hand: the Universe may grow, age, and die! Then from the ashes, a new universe may form. This model is called the phoenix model, after the mythical bird which would grow, age, and then spontaneously burn, before a new phoenix chick would appear from the ashes. This model is thought unlikely by physicists who have noted that the universe expansion is speeding up, and there is not enough gravity to cause a collapse into the big crunch.

So, the question for us is: are we going to be violent like those who are totally illuded by form, or are we going to exist in the present, dealing with reality (and not some past grudge or future desire)? Without memory, we wouldn't be able to tie our shoe laces, but we also wouldn't remember other people being bad to us. Memory is a double edged sword.

We can spend many years of our lives due to a bad memory, wasting the time to calm a fear, or reach a desire. To enjoy life in the present, what is that? Is to enjoy the moment, to allow the mind to wonder into the future, to gaze at some desire or some fear? Is to enjoy the moment, to allow the mind to wonder into the past memory, where the pattern of hurt and distress or success plagues the mind as the seconds of our life drift past?

Don't we need to look at ourselves as we are: violent, irrational, divided, and in constant mental conflict? If we chase after some mental image of Ideal behaviour, we are always thinking about some future image of ourselves that has matured, rather than resolving our present inner conflict!

    wow,

    John,

don't isten to david, all you need is love. You have a lot of questions. Maybe you need to ask the right ones. God exists. You can't deny that. But, god was never ment to be bound to a certain kind of belief. Its about how god makes you happy. God is not what he says or she says, God is what YOU believe. God is a part of everyone. Sadly so many people think their answer is right and your's is wrong. Until those bounderies are broken, people wil always be fighting people. I know your hurt but if you are filled with so much hate and confusion it just make the cycle continue. You need to step back from this material life and watch your self and ask your self is what your doing is making your life better. Good luck brother

No, living a moral life is not illogical if you prefer a stable, happy world. I do and so do many other atheists. While sociopaths may be doing smart by them, the rest of us refuse to tolerate it and neither should you.

We don't need to derive our morals from a God.

I don't understand why love and emotions should be any less significant because of their purely naturalistic origins. We have them for a reason, you know- things just work out better for all of us when we're not all just looking out for number one.

I went through this entire thought process when I was leaving theism. The truth isn't nearly as dismal as you think.

I am sorry for your losses. Please accept this atheist's compassion.

your question was too long so i'll reply to the headline. he exist to give power to a minority over a majority of clueless fallowers. why do you think there are so many references to shepereds and sheep and flocks and the phrase, stop being a sheep and be a leader instead.

God is Love. He cares for your loved ones dearly if they are in heaven or purgatory. I'd recommend praying the rosary for them. The Virgin Mary will help you to know God as He truly is--Infinite Love. See the following wonderful promises. I find them extremely refreshing.

    The rosary is explained here:

    http://www.sancta.org/rosary/how.html

The fifteen promises of Mary to Christians who recite the rosary:

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

    3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against Hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

    4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in Paradise.

    9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

    12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.

    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.

    15. Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination

    God bless!

    Dave
