The Baby Boomer generation is responsible for all of the things happening in america right now. Obama is a boomer. W was a boomer.
Pelosi is a boomer. Ried is a boomer. Cheney was a boomer. Gingrich is one too. As are Bill and Hillary.
I wonder if the problem with congress is the fact that both democrats and republicans are controlled by this generation.

Reid was born in 1939, Pelosi in 1940. Cheney was born in 1941. Obama was born in 1961.
Assuming we go with the definition of the post WW2 baby boom being from 1946 until the early sixties then Reid, Gingrich, Pelosi and Cheney do not count.
And of what is left you are eliminating everyone between the ages of 45 and 63. That is a pretty big part of working age America.

Obama a BOOMER!??? He is younger than ALL my kids!!! It's like letting a kid just starting school run the country! Tell me something! why do people think the younger generation is smarter than us old guys? Technology? Education? How about experience? A person learns by their mistakes, and as they age, they become a little wiser. Which era you refering to? WW2, the Korean War or what? We were ALL BOOMERS at one time or another. The way I see it, now we have all these young guys in DC flexing their muscles, and not one of them can agree with one another!!! It's a case of the blind leading the blind.

boomers parents left them the nuclear arms race. the cold war, the civil rights issue, inequality of women, the economy you see now as they never fixed the cause of the depression a world war stopped the depression.

I too thought when my generation came of age they'd do a better job ... but we were greedy and I see no change in the level of greed in the next generation either.

Should we get rid of them all and populate the government with Gen Xers or something? It's their age I guess, the WW II generation is beginning to pass on and most of them are no longer in government.
