ATTN: Mac Users! How do I disable Mac mail?

everytime I click an email address on a webpage, Mac Mail comes up. I use Yahoo mail and don't want to pay for POP access, so I don't plan on using Mac Mail. Is there a way to change my settings on my Mac computer to go to yahoo mail instead of opening the Mac Mail program?

That makes no sense. On my PC, I am able to click email addresses say for instance-in Craigslist and it will take me to my yahoo acct to email that address. It has to be possible.

Actually, it's more browser specific. If you're using Firefox, go to Firefox>Preferences and click on the Applications tab and scroll down to "mailto" in the Content Type and change to "Use Yahoo! Mail."

As for Safari, I don't think it's quite so easy, and to be honest, I don't know how you do it. (I don't use Safari, so I'm not as familiar). This link might help if you're using Safari...

EDIT: This link might be more useful for Safari than the previous one:

That's impossible, as Yahoo Mail is technically a webpage, and you can't configure a program launcher to go to a webpage regardless of if it is Mac or Windows.
