Do people care about a product made from scratch these day?

I have great recipe of cookies made from scratch - ve-e-ery delisious, melt in the mouth:) Do people still care of a product made from scratch these days? Is it a "plus" or a "fuss"? I would really love to sell them, but not sure how to go about it.

ABSOLUTELY! fresh homemade food is the best.in my restaurant i serve only fresh food,no cans, packets, etc.
i think alot of people still like the home cooked appeal of food, especially cookies!!MMMM!
sure we can go to the store and buy a bag or box of cookies,do we really appreciate them,i believe with making them ourselves we get to taste and appreciate the products of our labour, so to speak.we appreciate things more when we have to work for it and do the work ourselves.dont we?
try selling them at work?one time we gathered all our co-workers and we all had to make cookies or some other simple sweet, took them to my sons school and had them sold for charity.this is a great way to get your product out there and support a great cause too.do you have a farmers market in your town?
hope this helps

I think people do, but are too busy to do it themselves.

We have a small restaurant here in the city that makes what you would call a home cooked dinner which thrives with it's small clientele.

You don't get much choice, but at home you will have none.

Last time I was there it was a traditional Corned beef, cabbage, carrots, mashed potatoes and Hot English Mustard or a milder sweeter one.
The other option was Roast of the day, lamb, parsnips, potatoes, and boiled cauli with gravy or mint sauce.

Homemade is the best! In the US we have lots of for sale homemade recipe type cookies, but they are so expensive, I make my own if I dont want store bought regular mass produced ones. You have so much competition out there already if your in the US right? If you get your home liscenced through the health dept and get a business liscence, but then, I have no clue where you can sell them honestly.

Major Eyeswater was unable to answer this question because he was looking for the restaurant Dune was describing.

Yes, people love products made from scratch, but oddly enough they get huffy when it comes to paying for it and they say, "Oh, I could make that at home myself," but they rarely do cook or bake at home. It's a paradox that many restaurant owners and bakers face - people want a fresh muffin but balk at paying $2.00 for one.
