You can get your credit report free one time a year from the three big credit bureaus, the website is annualcreditreport.com

Go to www.freecredidreport.com. Do not use any other site. After you get your report (you can copy or save it) you will be given a choice to get your score for $5.95, but make sure you are still in the above website. The others that want to sell you a plan can pop up. It is suggested that since you can get a free report from all 3 agencies once a yr. that you get one every 4 mos.
