I bought a amp today, and i didnt get a wiring diagram, well i have 3 wires coming out of it, a black one, a red one, and an orange one.. where does the orange one go?
So, they both go to the battery?

Look up the specs online with the brand and model #.
Usually the red is power, black negative, and there should be a small wire for the signal. A third large gage wire might be a distribution port for another amp.

the orange is the lellow one it suppose 2 always have power going to it the red one is pretty much a relay switch to turn it on

sounds like it may be your remote line or mute line best thing is to look up a manual for that amp series and model #..
