I didn't know where to start looking.
But....
It can't be the Shorts because of the wing supports - none on the photo.

And the Islander looks too streamlined, much more modern. Look at the engine pods.

Following the leads give here (thanks everyone!) I dicovered that the RAF fly two Islanders out of RAF Northolt, quite near to me. Now I'm wondering why I've never seen them before.....

Looks like it may be a SHORTS 360. But I've been known to be mistaken from time to time so I'm going with BRITTON ISLANDER (see link)
