Where is a good Muslim community within the United States or to go beyond... anywhere around the world?
I'm looking to move with my husband and newborn baby. I want to move to a more active Muslim community INSHA'ALLAH. Where there's a mosque; school and peaceful for my family to live in.
Jazak AllahKhair

Searching place to live in USA with my wife, Daughter & me, The place should be near masjid, restaurants school, pharmacy etc, most important is Muslim (sunni) community share a information with me please ....
Most big cities in the US have good Muslim communities. The largest is Dearborn, Michigan.
I accepted Islam in 1986 and came to live in Saudi Arabia in 1987. While I intend to return to the US to live within the next few years, I'm glad that my children have grown up in a place where it's normal to be Muslim, alhamdulilah. They attended an English language British curriculum Islamic school, received an excellent education, had teachers and friends of a dozen nationalities, and have a world view that they would not have had growing up in the USA.
Makkah and Medinah are the best, of course, but Jeddah, which is only an hour's drive from Makkah, is a rapidly growing, modern city right on the coast of the Red Sea.
If you want to look for a job outside the USA, I recommend you take a degree or certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages.
You have a good perspective from having lived outside the US, however, because you're young, you lack historical perspective. The US has changed greatly over the last 10 years. The country is being run by people who mainly care about winning the next election, and who constantly manipulate people's emotions through inflammatory rhetoric and disinformation. "Illegal immigration" was not the major issue it is now until mid 2006 when the Republican party decided to appeal to its base with draconian proposals. They ramped up the natural backlash against foreigners into a frenzy of hate and then they couldn't put the genie back into the bottle in time to pass a somewhat reasonable immigration reform bill. You seem to be on a good track of thinking for yourself, but I hope you decide to vote in the presidential election. If there's one thing for certain, it really matters who the US president is. As for the people on this board, many are paid partisans or campaign volunteers, several are astro turfers. So the opinions many posters "express" are not for real and are far more extreme than the real opinions of real people.
Congratulations for the newborn baby, I hope he/she grows up to be a lovely Muslim person.
If you want to move to an Islamic community inside the US, as far as I know, it's a place called "Dearborn" in Michigan, they say it's the most populated Muslim community among the whole states. There you can find mosques, Muslim schools and freedom of Islamic life (Sunni)..
If you want to emigrate outside the US, I advise you to start with Egypt, there you can really live as a true Muslim, but the life there is not so easy :( Also you can go to Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, or any nearby Arabian country. In addition to Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia and a lot more...
I hope you and your family a great life (in this world and in the Hereafter)
