no. this is why: -taxes. if marijuana is taxed, it's gonna jack up in price. just think, i bought a mini bic lighter not even a month ago. let's keep in mind a normal-sized bic lighter is about $1.25 or so. I payed $1.80 for a mini bic lighter. This is no joke. Now think about this. If you're paying $10 for a gram right now while it's not completely legal, imagine if it was legal with the taxes and bullshit and then the economy goes all fucky like it's been doing the last few years? you're gonna be paying $15, maybe even $20 for that same gram. And that, my friend, is completely and utterly ******. -No one really cares. unless you grow in your house and/or sell lots of dope, you're probably not gonna get caught unless you smoke right infront of a police station or something. -It would not benefit anyone in the general public. recreationally, no one needs it. It is a dangerous drug if it ends up in the wrong hands. People can actually become mentally ill from smoking dope. I do know that dope by itself cannot do this, but rather, if the person is already a little bit mentally twisted, smoking pot can make it worse because marijuana opens up different elements of the mind that you don't notice when you're straight-edge. This can bring people to insanity. plus, it is a driving hazard, much like drinking alcohol is. It's also a terrible scent for those who don't smoke, it sucks up your money like crazy, and it makes you tired and lazy. In conclusion, the only reason marijuana should be legal is for a new step to becoming eco-friendly (use hemp to make paper instead of cutting down forests for paper), to be used as a natural cure for cancer and other diseases, and MAYBE for spiritual use, to get closer to God or something. Other than that, sure people want to smoke dope, and they will, but we really don't NEED marijuana for anything else.

In Paris the cops don t care if you smoke weed/hashish. In Colorado and Washington its legal. In California it s really easy to obtain a medical license . In Australia and Canada it s really easy to get it medically ..

Amsterdam is a city, not a country to the people above. I believe it's legal in Kuwait, The Netherlands and Croatia. Here in our country in San Francisco it's decriminalized and is generally socially acceptable. It is available by prescription from a doctor by obtaining a "green card" or "cannabis card" and you can go to medical marijuana dispensaries and use your card to buy weed there.
