Did you see conservative libertarian talk show host Eric “Mancow” Muller get waterboarded today?

On his radio program today he got water boarded to set out to prove that it's not torture. He lasted about 6 seconds and declared that it is, in fact, torture. He said he doesn't want to say it, but that it absolutely is torture. Thoughts?

It's nice to know he can change his mind when he knows he's wrong.

Yes, it has been and always was torture.

I would never agree to be water boarded because I know it to be torture.

I have to hand it to Mancow, he had the guts to do it, and now he knows.

Well "Mancow" says it's torture so.... Really? Reeaallly? Yeah it's torture. But are there not different degrees of torture?? I think thats what the argument is really about. Depriving Mancow of chocolate for a week would also be torture. As would many things according to a fat talkshow host used to a comphy life behind a mic.

Instead of ridiculing the man, I think he shoudl be applauded for courageously trying it & being honest enough to change his mind after the experience!

That is IF he really is a conservative who thought waterboarding was not torture before the experiment. I have found nothing on what he felt about waterboarding before this so I almost wonder if this is kind of a hoax - someone who was always against it, but is acting like he wasn't to add drama & to make his message more powerful.

Not saying it is a hoax. Just saying I don't know.

Three terrorists were tortured using waterboarding during the Bush administration. Obama has also retained the right to 'decide to use enhanced interrogation, if the situation warrants." This entire arguement is stupid. No one on either aisle wants people to be tortured. However, if it ends up saving human lives, I don't think the majority of the people are gonna care that a terrorist got waterboarded. It will be interesting to see what Obama does now. He either okays the use of 'torture' thereby being no different from "W" or he doesn't ever use it, and there is a terrorist attack where people die, and he doesn't get reelected. hmmmm

Now if only Sean Hannity would get some bollocks and submit himself to waterboarding like he said he would to prove that it isn't torture.
