Do i need to go the Emergency Room- 6 weeks pregnant, bleeding, cramping, decreased breast tenderness.?
I began spotting about a week ago, and in the last few days it has change from more of discharge, to now similar to a menstrual cycle. I did call my Dr. yesterday and she put me on bed rest till i can her office in the tomorrow morning.
I'm also experiencing cramping, that will go up down pain wise, although, I don't believe it is ever severe.
Would it be worth it go to the ER, or should I just wait till tomorrow?
If i'm going to miscarry would the ER even be able to prevent it?

No doctors can't prevent you from miscarrying. If it happens it means the baby did not implant right or maybe something was wrong with the baby, that's why those things happen they are no ones fault. It just means your body knows the baby would not live outside the womb and terminates the pregnancy. I'm not saying you will have a misscarige though. I had some spotting at 11 weeks it only lasted a day though. And then agian at 12 weeks. And I found out it was from an infection I got put on meds and havn't had bleeding since and I am now 22 weeks. If I were you I'd go to the ER so you can find out what's happening. Drink lots of water also and don't be moving around so much...but I'd defanitly go to the ER they can do an ultrasound to see if your baby is ok, although idk if theyd see much at 6 weeks to begin with...but bleeding at anytime in pregnancy shouldn't be thought of as normal...it happens and sometimes isn't anything but when it's more then a week I'm surprised you didn't go to the ER right when you saw blood! I did! Anyways, good luck with your pregnancy and I hope all goes well... GOD BLESS!
It could very well be the beginning of a miscarriage, but I bled for the first three months of my pregnancy and am a happy healthy 19 weeks along with a baby that moves around all the time. No doctor found out why I was bleeding, but it wasn't a threat at all to my bun in the oven. You should get it checked out though. If you aren't cramping badly, chances are it isn't a miscarriage, but could be. It could be many things. You may bleed after sex (or orgasm if you go it alone) since your cervix is so engorged right now. It could be implantation bleeding, from the baby attaching to your uterine wall. Some women even have bleeding much like a period throughout their entire pregnancy, just as regular as a normal period (but obviously not... you can't have a real period while pregnant). There are of course some more serious reasons, but regardless, you are going to a doctor soon and not experiencing severe cramps so I would just wait it out until you can see the doctor. (As for going to the ER, and what they will do and tell you... they might do a test to confirm the pregnancy if you haven't already, but an ER doctor is most likely to assume since you are pregnant and bleeding that you are having a miscarriage... and they will tell you that. Then they will send you to a specialist (an OB or someone who is actually experienced with pregnant women) and the OB can do an ultrasound to see if the baby is still there, and do different things to figure out why you are bleeding (everything they do will be transvaginal though, so be prepared). An ER doc will tell you you are miscarrying, but don't listen to them. Only listen to the pro who works with pregnant women as his or her profession.)
The ER can't prevent a miscarriage. At six weeks they are probably not even be able to detect a heartbeat but you can try. The hospital is better equipped to predict one though. Personally I couldn't wait. I would have to know now so I give you credit. If it is a miscarriage I am sorry but that means there is something really wrong with the baby and you wouldn't want the baby to be born a suffer.
i had a miscarry at 11 weeks and i was experiencing the same as u i am not trying to worry u but if it is a miscarriage there is nothing the doctors can do hope u be ok best of luck :)
