Hey, I just acquired this old revolver from a deceased relative and I am just interested in finding any relevant information on this firearm. I attempted web searches, wikipedia, and even searches on yahoo answers to no avail. I am curious when they were produced by Taurus and if there are any fascinating details surrounding this old gun. Thanks in advance.

Looks like a very serviceable revolver, an excellent nightstand weapon. Not exactly what one would consider a real collectible but a very capable pistol all the same.
Probably made in Brazil, a copy of the S&W model 10 I think. Taurus probably made a million of them for sale in South, Central and North America.
Keep it clean, keep it safe, keep some ammo for it.

Well these are no longer made and looks like a S&W 38 police special or close to it. If you want details contact Taurus with ser# so they can date it. Someone here if familiar with these would need a pic or ser# to give more info.
