Use the sticker on the door of the car. The pressure on the tire says maximum pressure, meaning with after the air in the tire has warmed up. The difference between the pressure on the sticker and the pressure on the tire allows for heat expansion and load.

OK, only use what is says on the tire. If it says two different things on the tire and car door, then you obviously have non-factory tires. At this point you only have to use what is on the tire. Using the pressure on the door is retarted, becasue that's for your factory tires. Always use what is on the tire. If you have some sort of rims, and you use the door pressure you will mess up the rims in the matter of months. I just don't understand how if a tire says 25 PSI you would put something else in there. The pressure on the door is meant for the factory tires, and has nothing to do with how the car operates. I won't assume that you have the same factory tires, like everyone else.

Inflate to the spec. noted on the white sticker located on the inside of the driver's door.
The spec. listed on the tire clearly indicates that this is the maximum pressure the tire can hold "if" you wish to load the tire to it's maximum load capacity.

inflate your tires for the vehicle spec failure to do this causes the tires to ware wrong to hard the only ware the center of the tire to soft and the out side edges correct inflation ensures good fuel economy and good tire ware

open driver door should be a sticker with recomended pressure which is a starting point whats on tire is max pressure and it should be under that it will stil be up to you to watch tire wear and adjust and you can type in year and model of car and tire pressure an dfind what it should be
