I have an ipod touch.
It just ran out of battery
it tells me connect to itunes
I connect to itunes and.....
WOW!
it says i have to unlock my ipods passcode before it can connect.
but i'm stuck on the screen with the itunes thing HELP ME

All i did was press the stand by button, on itunes(in your computer)
i click the restore button and say yes and yeah. dont disconnect your ipod. then wait for a while for it to finish downloading and bubble in restore settings or whatever that is. and it will back up your ipod and it will be just fine. it will take quite a while to do this, depending on the lastest version and the size of data from apps, music, etc. my ipod freezes every 2 months and does anybody need to know this; no

well for ipod nanos you hold the middle button and top button.
connect it to the comp and reset it...
the instructions with it should explain
