About a month ago or so I rescued a Lhasa apso mix from the kill shelter. Last week I took her to the vet and got all the shots && a check-up done, they said she was healthy. Today when I woke up she was really fat, sounds ridiculous probly but she was. Almost as if she was bloated? Do you think she is in heat? She has an appointment to get fixed in 2weeks. But she's been constantly licking her area and acting a little different than usual. This is my first time with a female dog so I'm not to sure. Please leave notes.

What shelter did you get her from? Usually shelters, pounds and rescues spay and neuter all dogs before potential adoption. That sounds weird. Anyway, have your Veterinarian check; usually you can't tell for the first week, but during the second week she'll start bleeding and the last week near her ending era she will stop bleeding (usually the most fertile time to breed) If she is in fact in heat, then you will have to postpone the spay surgery 2 weeks after she ends as not many Veterinarians will spay a female in heat due to many risks, etc. But yes, you should contact your Veterinarian and ask.
Take her to the vet. If her "area" is larger than normal and she is licking it then she is in heat, dogs don't usually go into heat until at least 6 months of age so if she is under this she is likely not in heat. If she is really fat or bloated looking then this is something totally different, you need to take her to the vet.
