If I do push-ups will I become bulky?

I'm trying to get a tone healthy body but I'm afraid if i do push ups it'll make my arms look muscular. Is it true?

For women that is the biggest misconception about working out and lifting weights, no you won't get bulky, you will get nice and toned, push ups work the chest more than the arms ...... women don't have the testosterone in their bodies to "get bulky" or overly muscular, you'll be fine.

You'll get muscles, but women cannot get the same kind of musculature like a guy can get unless she works out very, very hard for very many years, and include a very strict diet at that.

If anything, your arms may end up getting slimmer.
