I read online that the time allotment is 63 days, today will be 66. Her stomach is hard and she has been pacing a lot since the 17th but she hasn't gone into labor yet. Is it normal to be late?

I'm not a breeder, the dog was my moms and it happened by accident. she has her own box and everything sat up and I'm sure its not false because shes huge.

are you sure she's not false pregnant? heres a good site to read..http://www.petbitsforyou.com/labour.html good luck.
If your dog was bred more then once 66 days is not really late. They can become pregnant on later breeding.Even if only bred once 3 days is not too bad.Sounds like she may be starting labor with the pacing and restless behavior.Check her temperature if below 99 or so. I have had a female have them with a 99 degree temp and others it went down to 97 degrees. You'll have pups soon..Keep an eye on her and watch for any signs of distress. If you are not familiar with whelping call your vet and let them know what is going on in case you need to bring her in .
The temperature drop is a good indicator for you. However you need to have a baseline for her normal temp before you get this far along because like humans dogs also have a variance in what is a normal temp for them. I had a female who was bred and I did the temp test on her near the end and she had dropped her temp. I was freaking out because it was early so I was staying tied to the house, guess what she took a whole week before she had the pups on the 62 day. So don't use that as gospel...... Have you been in to the vet with this female for ultrasound and xrays? Call the vet and tell them what is going on but I bet you get puppies really soon, probably today.
If you are sure about the date she was mated then she should have been due on the 63rd day but this can vary in different breeds. I would be inclined to let your Vet check her over if you think she has gone past her due date. Take her temperature and if it has dropped to below 98 degrees then this is a sure sign she will whelp within 12 hours. She has to go through the stages of labour yet, i.e. shivering restlessness and panting and this can go on for 18/24 hours so once she starts this sort of behaviour you'll know you're in business.
Do you have a whelping box all set up for her, and in a quiet place for her to be alone? Are you sure she isn't in labour, and that she doesn't have a puppy stuck in the birth canal?
It's not usually normal to be late, usually it would happen within a day or two of her due date.
You should take her into a vet to make sure there's nothing wrong, just in case she's in trouble and needs a c-section. If you wait and she is in trouble, the puppies will all die, and so will she shortly after.
