Im 39wks tomorrow and this last bit of the pregnancy is just killing me. I have heartburn almost 24/7, my belly button feels like its gonna tear open any minute. It feels like I'm getting ready for my period too, Ive been having low menstrual cramps for a few days now, but my DR isn't worried about them. I'm 2cm dilated and i cant wait for my little girl to come out already!!!! Ive already had 2 sweeps done, and im getting NST's done once a week because i was borderline preeclamptic. Don't really have a question.... Just wanted to rant a bit this morning before i go take my nap. Ugh and Ive been sooo incredibly tired lately. I get up at 7 with my husband and i usually have to take a nap around 11. Any other mommies feel like ranting?

Rant away -- you're earning the privilege! ..... :-D
My sister-in-law warned me that the 9th month is nine months long. Boy, was she ever right!!
Having said that, my first two pregnancies were so-so at this stage -- I was tired all the time, had to pee constantly, my lower back ached frequently, and I couldn't get out of chairs once I sat down -- but I was pretty happy and fit, and in a good mood.
My third, however .....!!!! I had two solid months of morning sickness at the very beginning. That finally went away -- for a couple of weeks. But then I developed sciatica (shooting pains down the backs of one or both legs), which was constant for the rest of the pregnancy. I ended up spending most of my time lying down on the living-room couch, curled up on my side in fetal position, just to try and relieve the pain a little, while my toddlers watched hours and hours of TV. It only helped a very little to keep telling myself that the pain would leave when the baby arrived.
I had no family nearby to help out, and my bf was also pregnant -- she had to wrestle with the family Labrador on twice-a-day walks, until she'd finally had enough, and told her husband that either he ordered a fence to be built around the backyard for the dog, or she would. Her husband loved landscaping and gardening, and was afraid she'd pick the cheapest-and-ugliest fencing, so he finally got a proper fence built. She had a much more comfortable pregnancy after that, oddly enough. :-D
I'm not even half way there yet and I'm already with you. Of course I'm sure you are suffering way more than I am. I know I've had two kids before and that last part is always the longest and worse. Seems like it takes forever since you are soooo miserable. Hang in there it won't be too much longer for you. I wish I could see my baby that soon!
That's OK rant away! I know that last bit is a killer. You just can't wait for it to be over! But thankfully it'll be behind you soon and the nightmarish bits will fade away as you enjoy the time with your baby girl! Good luck to you. Hope you have an easy delivery!
Not a mommie....but have watched other women endure pregnancy and wonder why? It is a great burden on a woman's body. Your hormones go nuts, you get stretched beyond endurance (like you said you feel ike you are going to tear open). It is no picnic. I hope many teens (and older) read this and think twice about pregnancy and using protection.
But, I hope your Daughter (congratulations!) is healthy and you both come through the delivery in flying colors. :D
I know how you are feeling! my little one is up every 2 hours over night then like clockwork up at 7am & ready to party. He didn't go back to sleep until like 12:30pm today. 5 1/2 hrs! I'm sooooo tired!
