Should I get contacts?

I have had glasses since the second grade. I like how I look either way. But people say when I take them off I look really pretty. So I was thinking of getting contacts. I wanted to get green contacts, cuz I think my brown eyes are boring. :] But I was also thinking they will hurt a lot and be too much responsibility.
Thx!

Contacts are a responsibility, but a lot of what you are saying is incorrect! They do not hurt- especially Acuve Oasis (which is the softest, thinnest brand) and they don't require too much care. All you do is:

In the morning, you put aside your glasses, take out your contacts, clean them- you can find contact cleaning brands that "self wash" and you don't even have to touch them! you just swish em around in your hand- and then put them in which you will get used to after two weeks. Contacts feel wonderful, unless they are on the wrong side, which your eye doctor will point out. In the evening you do the exact same thing to take them out, but throw out the old contacts solution that was in there and replace it with new stuff you squirt in when you put away your contacts into the case for the night.

Though it seems long, I can nw do this all in less than thirty seconds!

Contacts are an invesment, and you should totally get them!

PS- I hear that there are disposable contacts you don't even have to wash every night! Ask your doctor about those, too!

They don't hurt alt all, in fact, you won't feel them at all:) I've had contacts for about 4 1/2 years and I love them!
I would first start off with regular clear contacts first though...
Contacts do take a little more time to care for than glasses, but over time, you get used to it and it's nothing!

I have had glasses since i was 5! and i got contacts two years ago. they r really great because they make you look prettier, and you dont have to worry about lugging around glasses. but dont get me wrong, contacts do require some responsibility, butim not tht responsible, so i think you culd pull it off. good luck!

I have had contacts for about 2 years now and I love them. You really just have to be careful when your swimming. I'm not sure about colored but I know someone who has one and they arn't bad. They only time they actually hurt is in the begining when you put them on and that really isn't that bad.

i would go with the contacts. They dont hurt. i wear colored ones and most of them look really nice when you pick out natural colors. Just make sure you take good care of the contacts and get a fresh pair every couple of weeks.
