Anyone having trouble getting into your mail?

I try to check my mail and nothing comes up after I click the mail icon. I have tried this at work and at home...keep getting the same thing! Once in a while it works.

There was an increase of user problems back at the end of May thru the mid of June based on the number of customers that complained of this issue in this Q & A section. When was the last time you tried to long on, yesterday? 2 weeks ago? If it was more than less, please read the following. Try some of the suggestions.

I had problems trying to open my Yahoo emails since May 29. It has been resolved as of June 18. Could not open email on either in IE or Mozilla. A lot of other Yahoo customers had this issue.

There is a Forum you can visit to review the problems Yahoo has had recently. It is:

I suspect Yahoo implemented some upgrades which affected the ability to open mail and do something with it after we have read the email; Delete it, Forward it, Reply,Move it to another File Folder, etc

I've tried clearing my Cache, Cookies, and Temp Internet Files to no avail. I've also done what Yahoo recommended below in which the first 2 suggestions did not help. You should try them anyway.

1) IE, Tools>Internet>Custom Level> at the bottom, select medium or Medium Low from the pull down menu> OK. Didn't help my situation. Mine was already set to Medium. Try this, may help.

2) Start>Settings>Control Panel>Internet>Options>Advanced Tab> Under Browsing, clear the box in the " Enable 3rd party browser extensions "( requires restart). After I unchecked 3rd party , I still had the problem to read my email. Try this anyway if you have IE 6.0

- Temporarily disable anti-virus for a minimal amount of time. See if you can read your email. If so, re-enable your Anti-virus provider and contact them. CAUTION - Disabling your Anti-virus opens you up to Viruses - Think about this action before you do this.!!!

In my case, I had normal email capabilities and then contacted my Anti-virus provider ( Norton). They downloaded a patch which allowed me to read my emails in a normal fashion.

IN the meantime, try this:

1) Double click on your mail Inbox or other File Folder
2) Right click and a Pop-up window will show up
3) Choose OPEN
4) Read your mail, select an email for viewing
5) In order to DELETE, MOVE the email to another File Folder, REPLY, FORWARD - Go ahead do what you normally do. You'll notice that your email didn't disappear.
6) Go to your Inbox or another File Folder as if you wish to read another email. If you were DELETING your email from your Inbox, select your Inbox again, DBL clicking and Right Clicking. When the File RE-opens, you'll notice the email you DELETED is now gone.

Pain in the rear, but it at least allows you to read and dispose of the mail.

If it just goes to a blank page after selecting an email to view, I'm having the same problem.

I've run my antivirus scans and found nothing. It seems to be something in the account itself, on the server, because it doesn't matter which computer I use, work or home or library, it happens on all of them.

I hope yahoo doesn't try to email me the answer. Since I can't open my emails!
