Difference in power consumption of Steel and Plastic Electric Fans?

I have heard that they differ in power consumption (having the Steel Fan consume more power).

Q#1: By how much do they differ (by ratio or by exact data would be okay)

Q#2: Is the additional power consumption with the Steel Electric Fans worth it? (rationally compared with the added cooling power)

Thanks!

Find the models you want to compare.
See which one uses more watts; that's the one which consumes more power. I doubt that steel fans consume more than a few watts more than plastic fans. The extra consumption cost is probably negligible
