My friend is reading this book called Thirteen Reasons Why, it sounds very interesting to me, if not a bit depressing. It's about these tapes a girl left behind explaining why she committed suicide. Also The Christopher Killer and the sequels are very good murder mystery books. Eh, sorry, i just now realized both recommendations I made were a bit on the morbid side, but i think they're both very good :)
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS by Cassandra Clare. there are three books. City of Bones City of Ashes City of Glass They are amazing and very in depth books. its fantasy, but way better then twilight! you fall in love with the characters wonderful personalities!
I just posted a question about if it should be a movie or not..
I think it's a good adolescent book, I read it when I was in middle school. I can't say that you'll be able to relate to it, but I think you'll like it, it's "deep" or whatever ;D
