My friend is reading this book called Thirteen Reasons Why, it sounds very interesting to me, if not a bit depressing. It's about these tapes a girl left behind explaining why she committed suicide. Also The Christopher Killer and the sequels are very good murder mystery books. Eh, sorry, i just now realized both recommendations I made were a bit on the morbid side, but i think they're both very good :)

Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen

I just posted a question about if it should be a movie or not..

I think it's a good adolescent book, I read it when I was in middle school. I can't say that you'll be able to relate to it, but I think you'll like it, it's "deep" or whatever ;D

Books by Jane Austen are always good, or if you're looking for something fun, Meg Cabot is a good author.
