Double standards in male/female behaviors?

Do we really value differently the same kind of behavior when it is done by a male than when a female does it?

Unfortunately yes.

The sexual double standard neatly classifies women as either “pure and chaste” or “defiled and ruined,” , women today are allowed to engage in sexual behavior, but only under a set of complicated circumstances. Therefore, some people, and some cultures, think that it is ok for men to have a lot of, sexual experiences but it's not ok for women to do the same.

There is a big list of double standards which many still view as what it "should" be, like:

Shy or sensitive guy: weak
Shy or sensitive woman: virtuous

Aggressive and/or ambitious guy: manly
Aggressive and/or ambitious woman: a bytch

A man drinking at a bar alone: normal
A woman drinking at a bar alone: perhaps a whore or looking for casual sex

In many countries:

A man walking alone after dark: a man going home
A woman (of any age) walking alone (at any hour): public property

There is a long road to go until these absurd double standards finish..if possible

Absolutely! the number one way is if a guy has numerous sexual liaisons he is considered the "man" or "Mack" and gets major props from other men. But let a woman do the same and men will call her a whore. There are other ways but that is the most prominent

This double standard is gradually dying out.

If a guy's sensitive and caring, it scares of the opposite sex (at least when they're young).
