If your opener was manufactured 1993 or after you should not have too much trouble getting a remote that will open your second door or a new one that will open both doors (if the openers are from the same manufacturer).
If your opener was manufactured prior to 1993, you might have a problem as many of these openers lack safety features that are required by law. It is illegal to sell parts for these openers without an appropriate upgrade. It is usually less expensive to replace the opener than install the required upgrades unless you have a really unusual opener.
Take the brand and model numbers from your openers to your local hardware store, they should be able to fix you up.
If you want to do some searching on your own, a simple Yahoo search of the manufacturer and model number will usually give you a page somewhere in the results that lists compatible accessories.
Most companies have manuals online now and you can locate dealers for parts too. I was able to find information to maintain a 30+ yr old genie opener that came with the house that I bought (no paper manual to be found.) All you need is the model number from the side and you can find just about anything you need.
