I have stayed there before! It was pretty nice - the pool was a fair size, the staff were pretty friendly.

September is a good time to go! Its still hot - and most kids are back in school. It's way less crowded (although Disney always has crowds).

never stayed at the western..but i'm sure its a great hotel with less disney crowds in comparison to disney resorts. sept. is the best time to visit WDW including Christmas. the weather is still hot and sticky. also expect unexpected rainshowers...which makes the trip funner :)

That is a great time to go! Most kids are just back in school, so the wait times are usually a bit shorter.

I still recommend planning your day to do the more popular rides first. They will still have a little longer wait. You may have to deal with rain, as September is the peak of hurricane season, but there are still plenty of things to do.

And if you plan on any meals at WDW sit down restaurants make your reservations now.

The Free Dining Plan for those that stay at WDW resorts is still going on and restaurants are quite busy.

Have a wonderful time! That is when I will be there.
