Hemingway character names for Hemingway kitties?

I work at a shelter and we just received 3 little Hemingway kittens, the ones with opposable thumbs. We would like to name them after characters in some of Earnest Hemingway's works. Original, I know. :) They are all longhaired kittens--one tabby girl and two black and white boys. Any name suggestions?

Interesting. Um... The Old Man and the Sea is my favorite so:
Santiago (one of the boys)
Pedrico (one of the boys)
Manolin (I know it is a male character, but I think it would be a good name for a female cat.)

YOU'RE SO LUCKY! I'm envious! I love going to Hemingway's house in Key West and playing with the kitties. They're the most adorable cats everrr. So for names... Lieutenant Frederic Henry (Farewell to Arms) because he's reminiscent of Hemingway when he was a soldier in Italy.

Rinaldi (Farewell to Arms), the flamboyant Italian physician in the book. He's an amazing, intricate character.

I've only read Farewell to Arms and those names are the only two that are really significant to me. Sorry I can't help you out further. :)
