What can I use besides vaseline and chap stick for chapped lips?

My lips are always chapped and dry. I use chap stick and vaseline, but nothing really works. Got any tips or tricks?

Blistex is my fave. It leaves your lips soft, smooth, and heals them almost instantly. It never stings, and something about it makes your lips feel cool once you put it on, unlike chapstick, which makes your lips hot and sticky. You can barely tell you're wearing it. And the best part? At wal-mart it's under $1.00!

My other fave is rose salve. They have is at bath and body works. It's not only great for your lips, but you can use it to heal dry skin and get rid of zits too!! You can look it up online. It's wonderful. It's about 5.00 but trust me, it's worth it!!!

this is easy and can be done with stuff you already have around your house:
1.put a generous amount of chap stick on your lips
2. gently rub your lips with a toothbrush fro about a minute
3. use a dry washcloth to gently remove the chapstick. this also removes the dry skin.
4. reapply some more chap stick.

this makes lips instantly smooth and amazing. best chapped lip trick ever.

I love burts bees. The original one might be a bit strong if your lips are very chapped, but the burt's bees replenishing lip balm with pomegranate oil is really nice.

To exfoliate your lips, first get a dry washcloth and gently rub all over your lips. Next, wet the washcloth and repeat your prior action by rubbing it all over your lips. This will make your lips really smooth. Follow up with a big swipe of lip balm, and your lips will be super smooth.

water and lotion.. very little lotion and rub lips together just make sure not to get any in your mouth. carmex and burts works really well. lip gloss works good. also make sure you drink plenty of water and apply something mostiurzing to your lips every night and every morning and throughout the day as needed. i usually put stuff on every night even if i dont need it so it prevents chap-ness in the first place :)
