Bagpipes at the end of Meat Loaf's 'Everything Louder Than Everything Else' The opening of Jethro Tull's 'Skating Away on the Thin Ice of the New Day' features the sound of Ian Anderson making and drinking a cup of tea. Not a solo, but the kazoo in Jimi Hendrix's 'Crosstown Traffic'. The Blackmore's Night song '25 Years' is played on the hurdy-gurdy, with a bagpipe chanter solo in the middle. The end of Fleetwood Mac's 'Gold Dust Woman' features panes of glass being broken. Part of the 'Second Hand News' drums were actually played on the back of a chair. And 'Tusk' involved drumming on Kleenex boxes. And there's a Peter Green era song where they find that the sound of 'leg-slapping' didn't sound 'leggy' enough, so they used a leg of lamb!
