My mom had to fire a worker who was complaining and speading untrue information. Other coworkers are happy she's gone as no one wanted to work w/her. Clients are happy to try other workers from the company. Now mom heard this gal is hopping mad and plans to 'do-in' mom's cleaning biz. If she takes it online, where can we search? Tried Google w/out sucess. Please advise. Thanks!

Try craigslist for you area, look under rants and raves section. Check ripoffreport.com and angieslist.com I think you have to pay to leave complaints on angieslist, so I wouldn't worry to much about that one.

If you've searched via Google and haven't found anything, chances are there's nothing out there. Check every week or two if you're worried, but chances are there's nothing going to happen.
Even if you do find that she's whining and complaining about how she was fired -- you're probably better off just letting her vent. If you say your other clients are all satisfied with the other workers, then where's the harm in letting her prove what a mean-spirited complainer she is? Don't sink to her level by taking her seriously.
