Is starting an online business right for me?

I don't want to be miserable, and hate

office-politics. I also cringe at waking

up early every day at 6 am, driving

through an hour of traffic to get to a job

I hate; What's worse is: companies

pay only half of what you need to live on.

Like I've said many times: the

only jobs that make me happy

are Coffee-Bean, Petco, Florists,

or maybe a Library-technician.

None of those pay enough to live on,

so maybe I should work from home, online?

I have been selling online since 2004.  My largest recommendations are to take baby steps and don't get too big too fast.

If you feel like trying your online business, I'd recommend you study the issues carefully since it's not that easy as it might seem. You could read these articles to learn more about market tendencies and what it takes to start your own business https://agilie.com/en/blog/how-to-start-my-own-onl... & https://agilie.com/en/blog/jewelry-business-online...

I guess you aren't planning to sell shoes or jewelry, but those posts will help you understand if an online business is something you'd like to deal with.

good luck with that.  What do you have to offer that people will  pay you  for?

And just what marketable skills do you possess that someone might be willing to pay for?  My guess is none.  You also have to be very motivated to work alone at home where there are so many distractions.  Online jobs tend to be of the customer service or data processing variety and have their own pitfalls.

Only you can decide what's right for you. Do extensive research first, and don't give up your day job unless/until you have your business up and running. Good luck!

What unique goods or services would you provide?  If there ain't any, then starting a business isn't right for you.
