Fell into a tub for about 2 or 3 seconds, was inside a case that protected the back but not much else, I use it with the case still on and talk on the phone etc. It has a thin screen protector but other than that is just the normal iphone. The lens of the camera is fogging up -my first question is, WILL THIS GO AWAY? and how do I make it go away?
For now, I have it in a ziploc bag full of uncooked rice. How long should I leave it like that? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

This happened to my blackberry.. rice is totally the way to go. I even went as far as putting my blackberry in a bowl of uncooked rice under a low wattage desk lamp to add a little warmth.. I left it there for about 12 hours. I know it's hard to be patient, but it pays off :)
Its okay sweetie, I have also dropped my phone into a pool once. :) You should take off the case from your phone and let it dry under a lamp and as for the camera, the fogging should go away after a while when it dries up. If the fogging doesn't go away you should go to the apple store, other than that it should be fine.
I totally disagree with these persons you have to take it to someone who fixes iphones, water damage is a serious thing specially on iphones, it wont dry as fast as it needs to, so its gonna create rust inside the phone and eventually will stop working, its better if you take it now before it starts acting up, there is a lot of peple on craigslist who can do that, just thing about it, you have nothing to lose anymore, there is no warranty for water damage.
dude rice will add starch to your iphone and clump with the water! put it on a table proped up on 2 pecils and two fans on both sides of it. if you can dissasemble it and dry off. and take it to best buy they might be able to help
