Dropped my iPhone 3GS in water!!!?
I dropped my iPhone in a puddle, I have the otter box case, so I pulled it out of the case and dried it off, everything works on the phone but the sound, I have applecare, but should I try any home remedies first? Or just take it to the AT&T store?

try soaking it in a cup of rice first....then if that doesnt work i would suggest the at&t store

Well no matter what your phone is suffering from water damage.You are lucky it still works but if you take a look inside,the sound chip could be possibly fried(which means damaged or broken) and if it is,I suggest you go IMMEDIATELY to an At&t store for help because eventually there may be a possibility that the iPhone gets even more damaged.

Be sure it's really dry inside. You might need to wait a couple of days or more.
Sometimes once everything inside is really dried out, it will work.
If you've already done that, and it still won't work..take it to the store
